How bulky are they and how long will the batteries last?
Firstly, containing batteries that power both the mill and the light means that these grinders aren’t going to be small and lightweight items. However, they are stylish in design and not out of place on a dining table. There size make them easy to hold and dispense with one hand – that’s the great thing about battery operated mills.
The light is only used during operation so is on for just a short time. This means that batteries running out quickly is not really an issue and generally last well.
These days I would rather put too much pepper on my meal than too much salt so the light is a really useful feature and addition to a salt and peppermill.
